Künstlersymposium
SALVE PRACHATICE 2009
Als große Ehre betrachte ich die Einladung zur Teilnahme am Künstlersymposium
SALVE PRACHATICE IV in der kleinen, schönen Renaissancestadt Prachatice im
Böhmerwald. Zum 4. Mal wurde dieses Symposium mit Künstlern aus Österreich,
Bayern und Tschechien über die Zeit von 10 Tagen zum Thema „ DER GOLDENE STEIG“
( der Handelsweg für Salz über Passau nach Böhmen mit Blütezeit im 16.
Jahrhundert ) veranstaltet. Sehr interessant war der künstlerische Austausch,
die verschiedenen Arbeitsweisen und Techniken der 13 Teilnehmer. Erwähnt sei
auch die herzliche Aufnahme und Betreuung von Seiten der Veranstalter, die
feierliche Begrüßung durch den Bürgermeister Jan Bauer im Zeremoniensaal, 2
Ausflüge in den Sumava Nationalpark, kulturellen Veranstaltungen und zum
Abschluß die sehr festliche Vernissage mit den dort entstandenen Werken.
I consider it an honor that I was invited to participate in the art symposium SALVE PRACHATICE IV in the beautiful provincial Renaissance city of Prachatice in the Bohemian Forest. This symposium was held for the 4th time covering 10 days with the topic "The golden path" (the trade route for salt across Passau towards Bohemian with the height in the 16th century) with artists from Austria, Bavaria and the Czech Republic. The artistic exchange as well as the different working methods and techniques of the 13 participants were very interesting. The warm welcome and support from the host, ceremonious reception by the mayor Jan Bauer in the town hall, 2 excursions in the Sumava Nation Park, cultural events and in conclusion the festive vernissage with the works of art made there were other highlights.
